Squarespace has now made it easier to upgrade your old 7.0 site to the new 7.1 site. If you see a “design” button in your left side navigation, your site is eligible to upgrade to 7.1. Only certain Brine and Bedford family templates are able to upgrade. Anyone can do this on your own, however, if you feel more comfortable handing it over to a designer, this is the perfect service for you.
This upgrade service is designed to help you transition smoothly from Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1 — so you can take advantage of the latest modern design features, improved flexibility, and better long-term support.
This is a permanent change, you cannot go back to 7.0
